Big, happy news today, my friends--my Amorous Woman book trailer is now up on Youtube! It’s an eye-catching blend of gorgeous Japanese prints and archival photographs of yours truly from Japan, in keeping with the semi-autobiographical nature of the book itself.
I have to say I have not had this much creative fun in a long time. Big, huge, kiss-you-all-over thanks to my wonderful husband who helped me with the ideas and did all of the computer work. This project was an interesting reversal of baby-making for us because I had the twinkle in my eye and he did all the rest to bring our treasure into the world.
So, please do pop over to Youtube and check it out. If you’re up for it, give it some stars, leave a comment and tell your friends about a quick, cheap way to “stay-cation” in Kyoto.
Perfectly beautiful and a dream to watch!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
How beautiful!!! Gorgeous pictures, and Donna, seriously, your voice is SO magnificent! I just tried to leave a comment on YouTube but don't think I did it right (if I did, three identical ones will show up from me later, heh...), so I'll keep trying. :)
Congratulations on this beautiful project, and thanks for sharing!!
I'm so happy to hear your book is doing so well. That's awesome.
Good for you. :-)
That's a really cool trailer. I love the pics...you look good in a Kimono by the way. Not many western women can pull that off.
I left a comment under genkichick. :D
Yeah! The voice! And ... everything. ; )
Seriously, the trailer is a work of art in itself.
And ... the book!!!
Thank you, thank you, MB and Jeremy and Emerald for your comments and your kind words. I really cannot express my gratitude in words--how about a little Japanese "ishin denshin" and some cyber hugs?
Thanks for watching :-)
