The December-January ERWA columns are up, and this issue I conclude my writers' feast with a discussion of that most luscious of literary desserts (and deserts)--publication! Ah, yes, we all want to be published. We probably all want to be published more than we actually want to write. And there's no better way to get published than to to promise tips and strategies for other people to get published. But I digress.
In my latest "Cooking Up a Storey" column, "Get Published Today!," I pass on a few of my personally-tested tips for getting the editorial nod--gratis. Of course, now that I'm a published veteran, I'd argue that the writing process itself is the real gold, but I certainly still enjoy getting word that my story will appear in a new anthology. I also offer a great recipe for Eggnog Ice Cream, which goes wonderfully well with homemade Christmas cookies.
