Nearly-Nude Dancers and Sinful Treats on April 28!
Sure, part of me wishes I were still back in Japan, soaking in an outdoor bath encircled by a lovely mountain vista. But wonderful things await me here back home including a reading this coming Monday, April 28 for my latest publication, “To Dance at the Fair” in Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women. Here’s the official invitation:What: Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women San Francisco Release Party
Join editor Rachel Kramer Bussel and contributors to hot-off-the-press
Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women (Seal Press) Carol Queen, Melissa Gira,
Donna George Storey and Gina de Vries as they read from this red-hot
collection of erotica.
When: April 28, 7-9 pm
Where: Cafe Royale, 800 Post Street at Leavenworth in San Francisco
Another Reason to Come: Free cupcakes will be on hand from local bakery Sharlene's Babycakes.

And really, there are lots of reasons to mosey on down to Café Royale next Monday. Rather like a corset helplessly attempting to restrain the bosom of a voluptuous female, the collection is literally overflowing with well-written, super-hot stories, and I’m so excited to be part of it. Plus, if you check out the web site for Sharlene’s Babycakes, you’ll see these treats are definitely worth a special trip. I’m not sure whether I’d rather gobble up a Mexican Hot Chocolate cupcake or go for the irresistibly named Flourless Chocolate Orgasm. Who could turn that down?
But it gets better! Rachel has posted an interview with me about my story “To Dance at the Fair” which draws inspiration from Sally Rand, famous for her titillating fan dance at the Chicago World’s Fair of 1933-34. You can watch a Youtube clip of her performance on the Dirty Girls’ Web site, a bit of American history not to be missed! While you’re there, check out the interviews with the other writers from the anthology. I love to learn what makes other writers tick, especially erotic writers.
So, remember, Monday, April 28, be there or be square….

Jeez,
Great smut and cupcakes, and me stuck 2500 miles away?
Otherwise, I'd be there with bells on!
Hope you have a good time!
